Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Sherwood Park office is actively hiring for an Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure Analyst to join the team. This position reports to the Supervisor, OT Infrastructure in the Information Services team, part of Pembina’s Legal, People & Corporate Affairs division.
Pembina's Information Services team manages and maintains the company's infrastructure, provides technical support, ensures data security and accessibility, implements new technology, strategies for future development, manages vendors, and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document issues across SCADA, MQTT, OT systems, and supporting infrastructure;
- Test, coordinate, and deploy operating system, application, and firmware patches in high availability environments;
- Support, maintain, and upgrade SCADA system platforms (AVEVA OASyS/Enterprise SCADA);
- Administer and support MQTT middleware and edge systems, including brokers, clients, and Ignition software;
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Windows systems (domain joined and non-domain joined)
- Perform hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for servers, workstations, and operator consoles;
- Maintain supporting infrastructure including Veeam backups, WSUS patching, and SolarWinds monitoring systems;
- Adhere to cybersecurity principles and support the implementation of cybersecurity tools to protect OT assets;
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to coordinate and complete upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution in a safe and timely manner;
- Manage user, group, and service permissions across OT domains and environments;
- Administer virtualization platforms, including standalone and clustered Hyper V and ESXi environments;
- Ensure regulatory compliance through adherence to processes and accurate documentation;
- Contribute to the development of processes and procedures;
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after hours or occasional off-site support for 24/7 operations; and
- Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
Qualifications:
- Degree, diploma or certification in computer science, computer engineering technology, network engineering technology, or electrical engineering is considered an asset;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with operational and technical stakeholders;
- Experience supporting OT or SCADA systems in a high availability operational environment;
- Hands on experience with AVEVA OASyS and/or AVEVA Enterprise SCADA preferred;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure (Windows 10/11, Windows Server, standalone and clustered implementations of Hyper V, Active Directory, WSUS, etc.);
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cybersecurity concepts; and
- Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license.
You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.
