Overview
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s is recruiting for a supervisor to join the team.  This position reports to the Manager, Asset Information in the Technical Service Unit (TSU), part of Pembina’s Corporate Service. The Plant Maintenance Data and Standards Supervisor is responsible for coordinating a team of Master Data Analysts and Engineers.  The team is accountable for Plant Maintenance master data as well as the standards and taxonomy required to govern it.  We ensure that asset data is built, maintained and quality is assured for the business to utilize it for operations, reporting and to support decision making.  We are responsible to align Pembina’s equipment hierarchy to the standards and maintaining quality control on asset identification.  We ensure that the configuration of the PM system supports the business, standards and integration with other platforms.  This person will use their rounded experience and knowledge of SAP, Asset Management and Operations as well as strong leadership skills to support the business need for consistent reliable data.

 

Summary of Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide leadership, visible commitment and engagement with staff including timely goal setting, clear guidance and performance management to enhance the employment experience and support Pembina to be an Employer of Choice;
  • Steward the development and maintenance of all standards, procedures and guidelines pertaining to the master data and system configuration of the SAP PM module;
  • Collaborate and support the Information Center of Excellence for master data governance to ensure system configuration and master data is created and maintained consistently;
  • Participate and lead projects affecting SAP PM or data governance;
  • Directly supervise, manage, coordinate and support all PMM data implementations;
  • Participate and lead solution design to meet identified business requirements;
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support Pembina’s vision for Operational Excellence by working with internal stakeholders; and
  • Participate and support Pembina EDI strategies. 

 

Qualifications

  • SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Maintenance & Repair or equivalent;
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14224;
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience;
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with an appetite for continuous development; and 
  • Strong critical thinking with proven ability to analyze processes, identify problems and present solutions.

 

The successful candidate will preferably live within 100 km of Sherwood Park, AB or Calgary, AB but consideration will be given for other major Pembina field offices.
