Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Sherwood Park office is seeking a Field Office Administrator to join the team, for a 6-month fixed term. This position reports to the Administration Supervisor, Mamawi District in the Oilsands Business Unit (OBU), part of Pembina’s Pipeline Business Division.
Pembina is one of Canada's largest oil sands and heavy oil pipeline operators and the business unit operates one of the largest merchant terminal businesses in western Canada. These combined assets allow us to provide long-term, dedicated transportation services to our customers.
The Field Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and technical training support for the Sherwood Park field office.
The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Sherwood Park.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

- Reception: answering telephone and signing in office visitors and providing excellent customer service;
- Maintain vacation and on call schedules for operations;
- Event planning and ordering catering;
- Assist with the Corporate Community Investment (i.e., Charity Campaigns, Breakfast programs, Days of Caring, etc.);
- Providing backup administrative support for vacation/sick relief as needed;
- Support/assist with data entry into database systems;
- Demonstrate learning agility by actively seeking feedback, adapting to new information quickly, and applying learnings to improve performance and deliver results in a dynamic environment;
- Other duties as requested; and
- Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a pleasant individual with a teamwork attitude, who has strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail. This individual must be flexible and adaptable to change, as you will be expected to cross train on a variety of tasks to provide relief coverage. Other basic requirements include:

- A minimum of Grade 12, High School Diploma with 2-5 years office experience preferably in the oil and gas industry;
- Post-Secondary Business Administration is an asset;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Computer literate with specific knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and SharePoint;
- Ability to rapidly acquire and apply new technical skills, tools, and frameworks in response to evolving requirements and emerging technologies; and
- Willingness to commit to a 6-month fixed term position.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
