Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is recruiting for a Planner/Scheduler to join the Planning and Scheduling team, positioned in Regina, Saskatchewan, supporting the Transmission Business Unit (TBU) assets. This position reports to the Supervisor, Planning/Scheduling in the Transmission Business Unit (TBU), part of Pembina’s Pipelines Division.
Pembina's Transmission Pipeline assets have developed through the strategic acquisition of key Natural gas, Ethane and Condensate transportation infrastructure assets, positioned in some of the most prolific gas producing regions in western Canada and the United States. Pembina's transmission pipelines provide customers with access to premium markets primarily on a fee-for-service basis under long-term contracts through long-haul pipelines.
The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for completing planning, coordinating, and scheduling of operations work tasks for pipeline and equipment maintenance activities. This includes liaising between control center operations, district supervision, field personnel for planned and reactive maintenance activities.
This position is located in Regina, SK
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

- Review approved work notifications daily in assigned areas of responsibility;
- Perform detailed job planning on corrective work as well as Preventative Maintenance Improvements;
- Perform on-site walkdowns for complex tasks and outage planning requirements;
- Collaborate with project teams and internal stakeholders to identify outage/availability impacts and integrate workloads into Workorder Management System;
- Review daily failure report/operations log to identify re-occurring trends and potential improvement plans;
- Assist with the development of new maintenance plans/items in the SAP environment;
- Adjust existing plans/items as required in part with optimization and efficiency initiatives;
- Provide input on how equipment is maintained and operated accordingly to procedure or manufacture recommendations;
- Support the development and implementation of asset management and reliability strategies and initiatives;
- Work with leadership personnel to identify opportunities for improvement and leverage industry best practices;
- Assist with MOC identification in accordance with Pembina’s MOC policy & support MOC processes when required;
- Assist with the development of operational procedures for maintenance activities including equipment shut down, LOTO, and risk assessments;
- Assist Operations & Maintenance with LOTO development for non-routine maintenance activities including cars seals, deviations, and bypass plans;
- Assist with identification and correction of deficiencies in procedures and follow document control processes;
- Manage & review work order backlogs to identify opportunities to integrate into the scheduling process;
- Assist with and identify outage/availability impacts to operations and schedule accordingly;
- Working with Planning, to draft/develop maintenance schedules for long range planning/scheduling forecasts;
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business requirements within your scope, when required;
- Flexibility to take on others’ work and provide coverage to others within your scope, when required; and
- Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related progressive experience in operations and maintenance;
- A proven track record of being a team player in complex operational environments;
- Maintenance planning & scheduling experience is an asset;
- Experience with SAP (Plant Maintenance) is considered an asset;
- Technical procedure writing experience is considered an asset;
- An excellent communicator with strong organizational skills;
- CMRP and/or MMP certification is considered an asset; and
- Valid Driver’s License (subject to Driver’s record check).
This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing which includes testing for marijuana metabolites. You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.
The successful candidate must live within 100km of Regina, SK
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
