Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Redwater office is actively hiring for a Rail Loader to join the team. This position reports to the Shift Lead in the Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit, part of Pembina’s Facilities division.
The Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit is involved in the fractionation, terminaling, and storage of our specification products throughout North America.
Responsibilities:
The Rail Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of rail operations, including sampling, loading, inspections, and compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Support Pembina’s safety culture of "Zero by Choice" and the “Life Saving Rules”. To read more about our Life Saving Rules, visit pembina.com/safety;
- Load and offload railcars efficiently and safely;
- Conduct inbound and outbound railcar inspections;
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols;
- Perform daily plant and equipment checks;
- Manage permits and FLHA compliance for Pembina and contractors;
- Complete core training requirements, including TDG, CROR, H2S, WHMIS, TMQ’s, Bourque, and TARS;
- Attend required safety meetings and operational briefings;
- Seek Continuous Improvement and actively identify opportunities to enhance loading efficiency and safety through new methods or technologies; and
- Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
Qualifications:

- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s license with a clean driver abstract;
- Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous loading activities;
- The ability to problem solve under pressure and being able to adapt to unexpected challenges and changing conditions, while maintaining focus and finding effective solutions in real time;
- High School diploma or equivalent is an asset; and
- Experience with MS office, Outlook, Word, and Excel is considered an asset.
The successful candidate must live within 100 km of the Redwater facility.
This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing which includes testing for marijuana metabolites.
You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
