Overview 
Pembina Prairie Pipeline is recruiting for an Operator to be based at the Palermo gas processing facility located in Palermo, North Dakota. In the U.S., Aux Sable is jointly owned by Enbridge, Pembina, and Williams Partners. Aux Sable facilities are operated by Pembina. This position is part of the Operations Department and reports to the Shift Lead in the Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit (NBU), part of Pembina’s Facilities Division. 

 

Summary of Responsibilities 

  • Maintain correct temperatures, pressure, flows, and other process variables to ensure on-spec product is produced;
  • Record Operation and Maintenance actions taken during shift in operations electronic logbook;
  • Follow all procedures for operating all equipment;
  • Inspect equipment daily while in use and write work orders for repairs as needed;
  • Complete plant rounds and other assigned routine inspections and document the findings;
  • Prepare LOTO and blind packages for plant equipment;
  • Complete training program and become qualified to operate all areas of the facility including the console and pipeline;
  • PSM – Participate in PHA, PSSR, and update P&IDs and procedures as needed;
  • Contribute to a team environment that values inclusion & diversity; and
  • Compliance with all associated regulations and procedures

Qualifications

  • 2- 5 years related technical training and/or experience in oil or gas processing;
  • High School diploma; 
  • Valid Driver’s license required; and 
  • A demonstrated understanding and high regard for personal safety and the safety of others.


This position will require a Pre-Employment Fit for Duty Exam and Drug Screen. 

 

The successful candidate must live within 80 miles of the Palermo Processing Facility.  
 

 

Final candidate will be required to undergo a background check; including a criminal record check.
