Pembina US Corporation’s Cochin Pipeline is recruiting an Administrator, Field Office to join the team. This position will support the Jamestown Area and will report to the Supervisor, Operations in the Transmission Business Unit, part of Pembina’s Pipeline Division.  Pembina's transmission pipeline assets have developed through the strategic acquisition of key natural gas and refined product transportation infrastructure assets.  Pembina's transmission pipelines provide customers with access to premium markets primarily on a fee-for-service basis under long-term contracts through long-haul pipelines.



Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

  • Provide administrative, safety and regulatory support for the Jamestown area offices encompassing internal and external communication, recording and retrieval of data and/or information and other paperwork as required;
  • Assistant to the Manager, US Pipeline District, as well as Supervisor, Operations;
  • Payroll: Timesheet review for employees, including tracking of holidays, vacation, short term disability, and other employee records;
  • Accounts Payable: Invoice preparation, entry into the company accounting system, tracking to closure;
  • Budget Oversight: Tracking and managing the operation and capital budgets;
  • Inventory Management: Ordering, receiving, tracking, and returning materials, maintaining, and updating the inventory management program;
  • Facility receptionist and liaison for on-site visitors and company functions;
  • Right of Way Encroachment: State Utilities Protection Services, and Aerial Reporting provide ticket oversight and support to all area facilities; 
  • Universal non-hazardous waste administrative requirements: record keeping, and management of documents, records, and reports for all area facilities;
  • Employee operator qualification and training: manage and maintain all certifications, train and course in OQ system, and in each employee’s electronic and hardcopy training file;
  • Event planning and travel arrangements for leaders;
  • Corporate card expense processing;
  • Fleet vehicle administration;
  • Any other duties assigned by leadership; and
  • Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

Job Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent required; with a preference for a BS or AB degree in Business Administration;
  • An analytical, self-starter who is structured and disciplined with the ability to effectively plan, organize, prioritize, and complete work with minimal supervision;
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Good conceptual skills that will allow company specific software to be learned and utilized quickly;
  • Ability to work in a team and multi-task environment, providing support for the Manager, Supervisor, Foreman, and field employees in the areas;
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with various computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
  • Able to occasionally travel to other facilities for meetings and training;
  • Dependable with the ability to deliver a high level of performance;
  • Possess a valid driver’s license; and
  • Must be legally authorized to work full time in the US without sponsorship.
