Pembina’s Engineering teams are actively recruiting for 2 Engineer in Training positions located in Grande Prairie and Whitecourt, AB.
The successful candidate must reside within 100 km of Grande Prairie or Whitecourt, AB, for field-based rotations and be willing to relocate to Calgary for office-based rotations.

What Does Pembina Offer You?

Pembina’s Rotational Engineering in Training Program aims to give EIT's comprehensive exposure to the organization while offering growth and development opportunities.  

The goal for an Engineer in Training participant is to gain a full-time position after completion of the 4-year term. 

 

One- year rotations include: 

  • Placement in a Calgary Business or Service Unit or in a field location (Grande Prairie, Whitecourt, or Redwater) – note that at least one rotation must be in a field location;
  • Technical Skill Development;
  • Learning how different parts of the business work;
  • An opportunity to find where your skills and passions can best be applied; and 
  • Professional Networking with Industry Professionals. 
     

Qualifications:

  • Preference is given to individuals with a degree in Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, however, all disciplines will be considered; and
  • Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license.

This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing which includes testing for marijuana metabolites. You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.

 

The successful candidate must reside within 100 km of Grande Prairie or Whitecourt, AB, for field-based rotations and be willing to relocate to Calgary for office-based rotations.

 

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
