Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Grande Prairie, AB office is actively hiring for a Field Administration/Reception role to join the local operations team. This position reporting to the Supervisor, Field Administration and supports Pembina’s field and office operations in the region.
The Grande Prairie team includes a range of operational and administrative roles working together to safely and efficiently support Pembina’s pipeline and facility operations.
The Grande Prairie office operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with reception closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch.
Note: This is a 4-month term & the successful candidate must live within 100 km of Grande Prairie, AB.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Provide front-desk reception coverage, including greeting visitors and responding to general inquiries;
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls;
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier shipments;
- Inventory, organize, and sort physical and electronic documents within the Fort St. John office;
- General administrative tasks, filing and scanning, database updates & entries, and vacation relief;
- Support day‑to‑day work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office, Copilot/ChatGPT, and other applicable systems;
- Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;
- Demonstrate Pembina’s values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and
- Contribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace by being gracious, kind, respectful, and working effectively with others.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); familiarity with Copilot/ChatGPT, and other applicable systems is an asset;
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage confidential information;
- Professional communication skills (in person, phone and email);
- Motivated, reliable, customer service orientated and comfortable working independently with guidance, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety and Pembina’s values;
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program and returning to school following the end of the work term;
- Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for; and
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule Must be available to work the entire term (May to August 2026).
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
This position is scheduled to be posted until end of day: 03/18/2026. In rare circumstances, a position may be posted for less time if there has been significant interest in the role.
