Overview:

 

Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s is recruiting for a Day Foreman to join the Fort St John team. This position is in our Fort St John Office and reports to the Fort St John Area Supervisor.  

 

Pembina's Conventional Pipeline assets comprise a strategically located network of pipelines and related infrastructure including various hubs and terminals. This network transports crude oil, condensate and NGL across much of Alberta and parts of British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and North Dakota.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

 

  • Support Pembina’s safety culture of "Zero by Choice" and the “Life Saving Rules”. To read more about our Life Saving Rules, visit pembina.com/safety;
  • Ensure all Operations and Maintenance duties are completed safely and in compliance with Pembina’s procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices;
  • Complete and maintain documentation related to Operations, Maintenance and Safety;
  • Ensure all work is completed within Pembina Maintenance Management (PMM) guidelines;
  • Direct supervision of multidiscipline teams;
  • Provide direction, measurement and performance feedback to staff in your area;
  • Demonstrate and lead teams in safety and operational excellence;
  • Provide appropriate support and lead change and initiatives of the business;
  • Provide leadership with development and mentorship of staff to promote growth;
  • Accountability and management of financial spending in your responsibility;
  • Contributing to the budget preparation and ensuring budget requirements are met;
  • Provide support to Engineering/Projects for new construction and site upgrades;
  • Provide leadership and assistance in emergency response training and events;
  • Participate in a diverse and Inclusive work environment; and 
  • Other duties as requested.
     

Qualifications:

 

  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in within the pipeline industry as well as related leadership experience is preferred;
  • Understanding of pipeline operations and the ability to guide day to day operations within the scope of Pembina specific operating practices and applicable industry standards and regulation; 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including an ability to interface internally and externally positively with field, engineering, and technical support personnel; 
  • Ability to perform and direct safe and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment;
  • Results oriented with a flexible & adaptable approach to change; 
  • Experience creating team member individual development plans to align with corporate goals and future resource requirements;
  • Strong computer and applications knowledge such as Microsoft programs, SAP as well as hands-on experience would all be considered valued assets;
  • Applicable post-secondary certifications or degrees are an asset; and
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

 

This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing.  You will also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.

 

Successful applicant will be required to live within 50 km of Fort St John Office.  
 

 

Pay Transparency Requirement: The base salary range for this position is $140,000 CAD to $150,000  CAD.  Actual total compensation may differ based on candidate's qualifications and location.

 

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
