Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Corunna office is actively hiring for a General Labour Student to join the team for a 4-month term. This position reports to the Maintenance Foreman in the Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit (NBU), part of Pembina’s Operations Division.
The Natural Gas Business Unit (NBU) is responsible for the fractionation, terminaling, storage, logistics and distribution of specification natural gas liquids (NGLs) across North America. NGLs are components of natural gas that are classified by molecular weight and carbon number, including ethane (C2), propane (C3), butane (C4), and condensate (C5+). Fractionation is a core part of NBU operations and involves separating mixed NGL streams into individual, market‑ready products such as ethane, propane, and butane to support downstream customers and markets.
This position is a 4-month term from May 4, 2026, to August 31, 2026, working Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.
The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Corunna
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Perform facility grounds maintenance (weed whacking, cutting grass, clearing brush, picking up debris), equipment maintenance (greasing equipment, changing oil, sharpening blades), painting and performing office duties on poor weather days;
- Support day‑to‑day work related to the team or function, using tools such as BlueWorx, LMS, SAP, Microsoft Office, Copilot/ChatGPT, and other applicable systems;
- Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;
- Demonstrate Pembina’s values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and
- Contribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace by being gracious, kind, respectful, and working effectively with others.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with lawn maintenance equipment, or, experience in a facility with a focus on strong safety measures;
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program or trades program and returning to school following the end of the work term;
- Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and
- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations.
This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and requires Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol testing which includes testing for marijuana metabolites.
You will also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.
Pay Transparency Requirement: The base salary range for this position is $21.06 CAD to $26.83 CAD. Actual total compensation may differ based on the candidate's qualifications and location.
