Overview 
Pembina’s Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit which is part of Pembina’s Facilities Division is currently recruiting for a Field Office Administrator to join the team. The Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit is involved in the fractionation, terminaling and storage of our specification products throughout North America. This position will report to the Manager, East NGL and will be based out of the Corunna office.  


Summary of Responsibilities
The Field Office Administrator will be assisting the Manager with coordinating daily terminal activities in the field. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Have a safety conscious attitude for all day to day operations by ensuring Pembina’s Corporate Safety Standards are met;
  • Answer and direct telephone inquiries and greeting clients, visitors, and other industry personnel;
  • Attend daily meetings and recording minutes as well as managing daily work plans and schedules;
  • Maintain and order office supplies, ordering catering and handling all mail and deliveries and pick up;
  • Act as the Provisioner for the Corunna facility;
  • Conduct orientations including site safety;
  • Manage the Access Control System; 
  • Maintain facility records within the Pembina Learning System;
  • Assist with production and general accounting duties and reporting; 
  • Perform a scribe role within the ICS structure;
  • Event planning and Social Club Administration;
  • Manage petty cash; 
  • Provide coverage for Rail Logistics;
  • Administer the fleet management program; 
  • Organize, administer and participate in community engagement events; and
  • Other duties as requested.

 

Qualifications 

  • Office management or other relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Experience with Windows 10 including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook;
  • Experience using SAP would be considered an asset;
  • Experience with Google Chrome & Internet Explorer;
  • Previous experience with general accounting duties and reporting would be considered an asset;
  • Previous experience with rail/truck logistics would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to lead self and work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Effective written and verbal communication as well as excellent customer service skills;
  • Demonstrates leadership and encourages teamwork within all operational teams; and
  • The ability to work minimal hours every other weekend to provide rail logistics coverage.
