Overview:

Pembina has an exciting new opportunity open with the Technical Services Unit (TSU), Enablement and Technology. This position reports to the Manager of Enablement & Technology in TSU, part of Pembina’s Corporate Services division.  

 

In addition to the Construction Services Office and Product Quality and Measurement, TSU manages, on behalf of the Company’s Business Units (BU’s), a comprehensive Asset Integrity and Management Program, which includes the asset lifecycle management, Pembina maintenance management and asset data, document control and drafting, pipeline integrity, integrity and risk assurance, integrity project management and construction, and facility integrity teams. 
 

As a key contributor of the Enablement & Technology team, the Advisor, TSU Intake Program is responsible for the overall implementation and sustainment of TSU’s intake program, project tracking, reporting and budgeting.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Streamline the process of handling incoming service requests, ensuring that all requests are properly tracked and addressed through an Intake Process;
  • Helping to ensure that TSU work is properly prioritized and aligned with the TSU strategy;
  • Work collaboratively with TSU leaders to ensure the right resourcing is allocated to projects and initiatives;
  • Work collaboratively with the other Business/Service Units, team members, and operations to Identify gaps and inefficiencies in business processes and realize opportunities for continuous improvement;
  • Draft/create operating budgets, reports, monthly cost analysis, KPI’s, trends and cost benefit analysis;
  • Support Managers and Supervisors in the preparation and review of the annual budget and long-range plans; and
  • Play a central role in creating/maintaining long term planning tools.

Qualifications:

  • This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a good understanding of both business processes and IT systems;
  • The role demands the ability to work in a team, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment;
  • Experience in heavy industries (Oil & Gas – E&P/Midstream/Refining, Mining, or Utilities) is preferred;
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and to adapt to fast-changing environment while thriving under pressure and delivering high-quality results; 
  • Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to apply sound business judgment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills;  
  • A team player with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and provide quality of service; 
  • Self-starter who directs own efforts based on high-level business objectives; and
  • Willingness to share knowledge and make effort to improve the effectiveness of the team.

 

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate may be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check, Drug Screen (which includes testing for marijuana metabolites), and Fit for Duty Exam.
