Overview

Pembina Pipeline is seeking a Senior Analyst, SAP SuccessFactors to join the Information Services Unit (ISU) in our Calgary corporate office. Reporting to the Manager, Business Applications

Responsibilities

Pembina Pipeline is seeking a Senior Analyst, SAP SuccessFactors to join the Information Services Unit (ISU) in our Calgary corporate office. Reporting to the Manager, Business Applications responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide third-tier technical and business support with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance and Goals, Succession and Development, Learning and any process integration to other business systems;
  • Assist with additional applications as required
  • Review HCM requests and translate business requirements into technology-based solutions; 
  • Recommend configuration/process changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the application;
  • Research, recommend and implement SuccessFactors upgrades;
  • Understand the impact of changes on integrated systems and address change management issues;
  • Work with team members and user community to define business process and continuous improvement opportunities;
  • Follow and provide change management governance for all general support, system enhancements, upgrades and project processes;  
  • Ensure processes are consistently managed and reportable through our change management applications and IS project delivery, governance and lifecycle framework;  
  • Develop and coordinate unit, integration and acceptance tests with business teams;
  • Assist development of business process deliverables and any required technical documentation; 
  • Responsible for HCM applications architecture and alignment with enterprise-wide technology strategy roadmap;
  • Leverage and manage serviced vendors to escalate issues or request services for projects/enhancements;
  • Outline specifications for custom development with the development teams where required for different functionality, reporting, integration, data extraction and transformation load scenarios; 
  • Assist HR Business team in developing training material;
  • Develop security access for groups and roles in relation to governance frameworks; and 
  • Ensure proper communication to all levels of the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience in SuccessFactors Employee Central;
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Recruiting, Onboarding 2.0, Compensation, Performance and Goals, Succession and Development, Learning would be considered an asset;
  • Experience with SAP HR applications would be considered an asset;
  • Strong communication skills, a positive and professional attitude, conflict management and issue resolution skills;
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous tasks with limited supervision; and
  • Capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced and deadline driven team environment.
