Overview
Pembina’s Oilsands Pipelines Unit Part of the Pipelines Division, is looking for a 12 month fixed-term Sr Logistics Analyst to join the team. This is a Pembina is one of Canada's largest oil sands and heavy oil pipeline operators, providing long-term, dedicated transportation services to our customers. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to manage product movements on a variety of Pembina’s pipeline systems that may include Synthetic Crude, Heavy Oil, Conventional Crude, Condensate and Ethane.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Overseeing the pipeline nomination process while reviewing for accuracy, reasonability, and pipeline capacity;
• Monitoring shipper receipts and deliveries versus nominations;
• Communicating, developing and sustaining strong relationships with refiners, shippers, and other pipelines to ensure proper allocation of deliveries;
• Balancing and reviewing shipper positions and product transfers based on actual receipts;
• Preparing and reviewing monthly tariff and equalization invoices;
• Monitoring petroleum qualities at receipt, delivery and pipeline integrity points;
• Volumetric forecasting and producer feedback;
• Providing volumetric analysis reports to management including variance analysis and the impact on revenue;
• Observing and reporting trends and pipeline developments on Pembina’s systems;
• Monthly reporting on an internal and external basis;
• Analytical project support as required;
• Ability to be on call on a regular basis as required; and
• Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree is an asset, but related experience will be considered;
• 5+ years of pipeline logistics experience is required;
• Experience with Synthetic Crude, Heavy Oil, Conventional Crude, Condensate and Ethane;
• High degree of proficiency and confidence with software applications, specifically Excel, Word, Polaris and Petrotranz;
• Accuracy: ability to work in a highly detailed and accurate environment;
• Communication: strong verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct clear concise conversations that result in shared understanding;
• Decisiveness: move quickly on issues and opportunities, weighing risks in a fast-paced environment;
• Teamwork: energetic and works effectively and productively with limited supervision;
• Time Management: excellent time management and organizational skills to multitask and balance deadline-driven workloads;
• Initiative: self-motivated to accomplish and exceed goals; and
• Adaptability: ability to meet changing demands, responsibilities and issues.
