Overview:

 

Opportunity often accompanies growth. Pembina Pipeline Corporation's office in Calgary is currently seeking a System Analyst for Scheduling to become part of the Marketing Business Unit (MBU) Logistics team. The System Analyst, Scheduling reports to the Director of Scheduling & Logistics. The role will be responsible for the continuous management of the MBU marketing positions within RightAngle (ETRM).

 

MBU is currently transforming their business through the upgrade, and introduction of a new ETRM system, RightAngle. This role has been added to enable the commercial scheduling and accurate tracking of inventory positions in the ETRM system.
 
As an ETRM System Analyst, Scheduling, you will play a pivotal role in our Marketing Department, taking charge of our inventory position within the newly implemented ETRM system, RightAngle. Your role will involve a high degree of collaboration with our schedulers and marketers to ensure the data you work with is accurate and relevant. The Marketing Business Unit undertakes value-added commodity marketing activities, including buying and selling products (natural gas, ethane, propane, butane, condensate, and crude oil), capitalizing on storage opportunities, and contracting capacity on pipelines and rail.  
 

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Inventory Management: steward the inventory information within the RightAngle ETRM system, ensuring our records are always accurate and current;
  • Team Collaboration: work hand-in-hand with our schedulers and marketers, understanding marketing activities and translating them into the RightAngle System;
  • Logistics Deal Creation and associated reference data: formulate logistics agreements within the ETRM system, ensuring all pertinent details and reference data are meticulously recorded;
  • Forecasted Order Maintenance: keep forecasted orders up-to-date within the system, adjusting records as needed based on supply and demand changes;
  • Volumetric Accrual Validation: ensure our volumetric accrual numbers are accurate, reflecting our inventory levels and movements correctly;
  • Movement Actualization: actualize movements within the system, mirroring the physical inventory movements accurately;
  • Work collaboratively within a team offering mutual support to various groups within the Pembina environment; 
  • Act as a System Subject Matter Expert and support ongoing system improvements; and
  • Support and participate in an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
     

Qualifications:

 

  • 3+ years relevant industry experience;
  • Experience working with RightAngle or other ETRM systems; 
  • Experience with IT implementations is considered an asset; and
  • Experience with PowerBI is considered an asset.

 

Pembina’s Flexible Work Standard provides the option for eligible employees to work remotely on Fridays.
