Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is actively hiring for a Pipeline Integrity Intern to join the team. This position reports to the Pipeline Integrity Supervisor in the Technical Services Unit (TSU), part of Pembina’s Project Delivery & Technical Excellence Operations Division.
On behalf of Pembina’s Business Units, TSU manages a comprehensive integrity management program, which includes Facility Integrity, Pipeline Integrity, Geotechnical, Corrosion Control, Asset Management, Product Quality and Measurement, Geographical Information System, Integrity Project Execution, and Automation Services. TSU provides leading technical expertise that optimizes performance and minimizes operational and project risk.
Please note that this is a 12-month term with tentative start date at the start of September. The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Calgary, AB.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting engineers and technologists by working with data, preparing reports, and organizing information related to pipeline inspections and integrity work;
- Assist with planning activities such as updating long term integrity plans, supporting budget analysis, and preparing monthly performance (KPI) reports;
- Support data quality tasks, including checking reports for accuracy, updating databases, and gathering information for integrity and risk reporting;
- Support day‑to‑day work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Office, Copilot/ChatGPT, Dynamic Risk Software, inhouse databases and other applicable systems);
- Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;
- Demonstrate Pembina’s values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and

Qualifications:
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a professional or extracurricular team environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), solid technical writing skills, and exposure to an engineering environment considered an asset;
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program and returning to school following the end of the work term;
- Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and
- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
This position is scheduled to be posted until end of day: 03/23/2026. In rare circumstances, a position may be posted for less time if there has been significant interest in the role.
