Overview:
Pembina’s Pipeline Marketing Business Unit (MBU) is actively hiring for a Sr. Representative, NGL Supply to join the team. Reporting to the Manager of NGL Supply & Storage, this position will be an integral part of a dynamic commercial team focused on customer relationships and the acquisition of NGL feedstock for Pembina’s fractionation assets. The Representative, NGL Supply will use their business acumen and frontline commercial experience to maintain and expand Pembina’s presence in the acquisition of NGL supply in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB).
Pembina’s Marketing Business Unit (MBU), part of the Marketing & Strategic Business Division, drives value through the strategic buying, selling, and optimization of natural gas, NGLs (ethane, propane, butane), condensate, and crude oil. Leveraging market intelligence and arbitrage opportunities across the value chain, the MBU enhances market access and pricing by contracting capacity on Pembina-owned and third-party pipelines and utilizing the Company’s rail fleet and logistics capabilities. The team also identifies and advances commercial opportunities that support the growth and optimization of Pembina’s broader asset portfolio and enhance value for both Pembina and Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) producers.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Develop and execute NGL supply strategy by leveraging deep knowledge of market dynamics, infrastructure, and value chain integration to support Pembina’s supply objectives and optimize asset utilization;
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage key customer relationships, establishing long-term, value-driven partnerships while serving as the primary point of contact for pricing, contract terms, and related inquiries;
- Drive volume growth and optimization opportunities, proactively identifying and executing initiatives that enhance facility utilization, profitability, and overall commercial performance;
- Build and evaluate commercial arrangements through robust economic modeling, financial analysis, and clear presentation of recommendations to business unit and corporate leadership;
- Represent the Marketing Business Unit (MBU) across cross-functional initiatives, contributing a supply perspective to opportunities spanning the NGL value chain and collaborating with internal stakeholders to maximize value;
- Monitor and interpret market trends, pricing, and industry developments, providing timely insights and forecasts to inform strategic decision-making and maintain market competitiveness;
- Serve as a subject matter expert on contract structures and obligations, ensuring alignment with long-term supply agreements and associated facility operating terms;
- Develop, maintain, and refine pricing models and supply forecasts to support commercial decisions and long-term planning;

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, with 10+ years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically within NGL commercial activities, logistics, and infrastructure; and
- Deep understanding of NGL markets, with a proven track record of building strategic relationships and expanding supply portfolios through strong commercial and strategic acumen;
- Strong knowledge of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB), including NGL market dynamics, infrastructure, and the interconnected pricing relationships across natural gas, crude oil, and NGLs in North American markets;
- Ability to navigate shifting priorities while maintaining focus on long-term commercial objectives; brings sound judgment and decisiveness in fast-paced environments;
- Advanced Excel skills, with strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite; and
- Exceptional written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex market insights clearly and effectively.
