Overview:

Pembina’s Logistics team is actively hiring for a Logistics Analyst. Reporting to the Supervisor, Logistics, the successful candidate will play a key role within the LVP (Low Vapor Pressure) Logistics team, coordinating and optimizing customer movements across Pembina’s pipeline systems.

 

As part of Pembina’s Commercial & Customer Service Group, the Logistics team plays a critical role in enabling the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of customer volumes across the pipeline systems.

 

The team serves as a central coordination point between customers, marketing, operations, and control centre functions, ensuring that nominations, scheduling, and downstream movements are aligned with system capacity and commercial commitments. With a strong focus on customer experience, the Logistics team provides proactive communication, resolves operational and scheduling challenges, and supports the optimization of pipeline utilization.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Proactively manage and deliver on all industry COLC calendar requirements, applying strong attention to detail and critical thinking to activities such as Producer Activity Reports, Form A and C submissions, pipeline splits, shipper drafts, balance reconciliation, and invoicing accuracy;
  • Build and maintain trusted, collaborative relationships across internal teams, shippers, producers, and downstream partners, leveraging clear communication and sound judgment to anticipate needs and resolve challenges;
  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, and outage teams to proactively plan and align system outages, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless coordination with upstream and downstream customers;
  • Leverage logistics and commercial systems (e.g., scheduling, accounting, and data platforms) to deliver accurate, timely outputs, while actively identifying opportunities to enhance processes, improve data integrity, and drive continuous improvement across the LVP logistics function;
  • Champion Pembina’s “Zero by Choice” safety culture, demonstrating personal accountability and actively reinforcing adherence to Life Saving Rules in day-to-day decision-making and team interactions; and
  • Contribute to an inclusive, high-performing team environment, bringing curiosity, respect, and a continuous improvement mindset to support a diverse and collaborative workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field;
  • A minimum of 2 years’ industry related experience;
  • Knowledge and interest in Crude Oil logistics and pipeline operations;
  • Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills;
  • Collaborative team player with effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills with demonstrated ability to be proactive in identifying potential issues and providing solutions; and
  • Organized, detailed, analytical and able to consistently deliver accurate and timely information.

     

    Pembina’s Flexible Work Standard provides the option for eligible employees to work remotely on Fridays
