Overview
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is recruiting for an Analyst, Systems Applications to join the MBU Logistics team. This position reports to the Manager of Logistics, and will be accountable for the integration of new applications into the existing MBU business model as well as participate in new application development and system initiatives at the project level.
The Marketing Business Unit undertakes value-added commodity marketing activities, including buying and selling products (natural gas, ethane, propane, butane, condensate, and crude oil), capitalizing on storage opportunities, and contracting capacity on pipelines and rail. MBU is currently transforming their business through the upgrade, and introduction of new technologies including a new logistics system Bourque Analytics and a new Enterprise Risk Management System (ETRM) RightAngle. The successful candidate for this role will act as the Scheduling representative on each of the projects and responsible to make recommendations for design and seek out process improvements that support the overall transformation to meet Pembina’s strategic objectives.
This role will be critical to the sustainment of these systems and will be involved in the daily maintenance of the systems, continuous improvement activities, troubleshooting, and will act as a liaison between Information Services and the Logistics team.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in project meetings and work with consultants and software experts to determine the most appropriate design of the technologies;
- Steward assigned support tickets to resolution;
- Maintain logistics systems to ensure they are accurately representing scheduling’s daily activities;
- Assist with logistics month end activities and troubleshoot errors as needed;
- Manage system errors as they arise and track performance;
- Create/maintain technical and user documentation;
- Documents current state processes, make recommendations for improvement; and
- Enable, champion, and embrace an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant industry experience;
- Experience working with Right Angle or other ETRM systems;
- Knowledge of Bourque Analytics System;
- 2+ years Business Analyst experience with Enterprise level IT implementations;
- Database design and development experience an asset; and
- Experience with PowerBI an asset.
