Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary’s office is actively hiring for an Intern, SOX & Internal Auditor to join the team. This position reports to the Director, Internal Audit in the Internal Audit team, part of Pembina’s Financial Services Division.
Internal Audit provides independent and objective assurance to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors ("Board") and management as to the adequacy and effectiveness of the Company’s risk management, control, and governance processes to achieve the objectives of the Company. Internal Audit also assists management by providing objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve operations.
Please note that this is a summer student term position.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Perform role‑specific responsibilities such as SOX Control Testing (Primarily ITGC), Internal Audit engagement testing, and assisting with the Business Unit’s Digital Enablement (AI) initiatives. This may also include participating in a project and presenting outcomes or learnings at the end of the term.
- Day‑to‑day work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office (including AI Agents, Copilot), AI such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and various Data Analytics tools such as Python and others.
- Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;

Qualifications:
- Role specific qualifications or assets related to the position include (Accounting, Finance, and prior exposure to data analytics, computer science, project management, analysis, and digital platforms, etc.);
- Currently enrolled in a 3rd / 4th year post‑secondary program and returning to school following the end of the work term;
- Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and
- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
This position is scheduled to be posted until end of day: 06/08/2026. In rare circumstances, a position may be posted for less time if there has been significant interest in the role.
