Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporations Calgary office is actively hiring an Employee Services Analyst to join the team. This position reports to the Supervisor, Employee Services in the Human Resources Service Unit, part of Pembina’s Corporate Services Division.
The Human Services Unit (HSU) acts to create a differentiated experience for our employees so that we can deliver extraordinary energy solutions so the world can thrive. Functional areas within HSU include Human Resources Strategic Partnering and Talent Acquisition, Leadership, Talent and Learning, and Human Resources Operations and Total Rewards.
The Employee Services Analyst is accountable for providing tactical HSU services in support of the service delivery model. They are responsible for working closely with stakeholders across HSU to deliver objectives and offer initial services, while also supporting our target operating model transformation and the evolution of HR service delivery at Pembina.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Supporting Organization Management:
- Perform and manage organizational job, and position management;
- Reconcile data transactions influencing organizational or position structure;
- Liaise with HRIS for technology related support and access rights;
- Maintain organizational charts and structures;
- Provide information to support Strategic Workforce Planning initiatives; and
- Execute mass transaction processing for hires, re-org., transfers, terminations, etc.
Supporting the Business:
- Respond to and process incoming basic inquiries related to all HR domains, policies, and programs, leveraging business unit specific knowledge/expertise when handling inquiries;
- Monitor workforce admin transactions (hire, transfer, promotion) and process all required approvals;
- Escalate complex inquiries and transactions to appropriate tiers / teams;
- Manage end-to-end HR customer experience;
- Provide basic administrative support and navigation support for organizational charts and HR resources; and
- Support HR Business Partners with programmatic and process-driven work.
Improve Processes and Procedures:
- Create and deliver user friendly toolkits and checklists to make policies and programs accessible;
- Key contributor in the continuous improvement of HSU practices and guidelines in line with legislation and industry best practices;
- Responsible for transactional processing within Pembina systems ensuring information is submitted to the correct parties, platforms, and programs for timely processing;
- Demonstrate learning agility by actively seeking feedback, adapting to new information quickly, and applying learnings to improve performance and deliver results in a dynamic environment;
- Other duties or projects as assigned;

Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of HSU policy & practices;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and inform others, and build relationships with people at all levels of an organization;
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills;
- Problem solver with the ability to diagnose and analyze root causes to issues, and recommend solutions;
- A team player who engages, and cross collaborates across HSU;
- Change agent that champions HSU’s transformation to the business and within HSU;
- Continuous improvement mindset and approach to work, identifying opportunities for improvement and engaging appropriate HSU stakeholders in the solution;
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or processes and apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Flexible, adaptable, learns quickly demonstrates courage and self-awareness; and
- Proficient in MS Office, SuccessFactors and a HRIS (SAP) database environment.
Pembina’s Flexible Work Standard provides the option for eligible employees to work remotely on Fridays.
