Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is actively hiring for Cost Analytics & Reporting Intern to join the team. This position reports to the Manager, Cost Analytics & Reporting in the Cost Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, part of Pembina’s Financial Services division.
The Financial Services team supports the company's major decisions through an in-depth understanding of financial health in the short term and long term, credit and market risk, weighted average cost of capital, and capital markets opportunities to pursue growth (considering financing strategy, M&A opportunities, etc.). The team is responsible to understand the current state as well as the future state across a variety of scenarios, and their potential impact to external stakeholders (such as shareholders and rating agencies).
Please note that this position is an 8-month term and we are looking for a fall start date.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Perform role‑specific responsibilities such as financial report builds and refreshes, forecast uploads, SharePoint improvements, master data requests and cleanup, reporting dashboard rationalization and automation. This may also include participating in a project and presenting outcomes or learnings at the end of the term.
- Support day‑to‑day work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as SAP, BPC, Analysis for Office, Microsoft Office, Copilot/ChatGPT, and other applicable systems;
- Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;
- Demonstrate Pembina’s values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and

Qualifications:
- Exposure to financial reporting tools, forecasting processes, utilization of AI and process automation;
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program and returning to school following the end of the work term;
- Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and
- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
