Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is actively hiring for an Analyst, Contracts to join the team. This position reports to the Manager, Category Management in the Technical Services & Supply Chain department, part of Pembina’s Operations division.

Supply Chain delivers strategic value to the organization by optimizing technology for material acquisition, inventory carrying, transportation, and planning costs
The Analyst plays a critical role in providing end-to-end support for Supply Chain contract administration and delivers service intake and contract lifecycle support to the Category Management team to ensure effective and compliant contract management.
Responsibilities:
Contract Administration & Management
- Administer executed contracts throughout their lifecycle, including tracking key terms, deliverables, expiries, renewals, and notices;
- Prepare and coordinate contract amendments, change orders, extensions, and related documentation in accordance with approved governance and contract management standards;
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date contract records and documentation within contract management systems and shared repositories; and
- Support contract close‑out activities, including ensuring documentation completeness and proper record retention.
Service Intake & Team Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for contract‑related service intake requests, ensuring requests are logged, triaged, and routed appropriately;
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to confirm scope, documentation requirements, and timelines for contract administration activities; and
- Support workload tracking and reporting for contract administration activities across the team.
Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders on contract administration activities, including amendments, documentation requests, compliance requirements, and vendor onboarding and mobilization support;
- Assist in ensuring vendor documentation complies with contractual terms and corporate requirements;
- Ensure contract administration activities are conducted in compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and contract management standards;
- Support audits, reviews, and data requests related to contract administration and vendor records, and contribute to special projects as required;
- Regularly collaborate with other Supply Chain teams to provide analysis and support during tactical sourcing activities, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs);
- Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support Supply Chain initiatives through meetings and ongoing collaboration;
- Work closely with Legal, Finance, Risk, and Insurance teams to support contract‑related activities and provide responsive, high‑quality stakeholder support;
- Identify process and procedural issues and escalate unresolved matters as necessary;
- Enter, update, and maintain contract information within contract management systems, including Ariba/SAP and related tracking tools;
- Provide backup support to team members by assisting with workload demands as required;
- Demonstrate learning agility by identifying opportunities to improve contract administration processes, templates, and tools, and applying new approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;

Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in contracting activities preferably within the oil and gas industry;
- Proficiency in SAP Ariba (sourcing & Contracts modules) to support the issuance and administration of contracts;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate across internal teams and vendors; highly organized, detail-orientated, and confident;
- Sound judgment with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment;
- Ability to engage, negotiate, and build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders at all levels, while adapting to changing priorities;
- Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance contract administration processes, templates, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness; and
- Collaborative team player with a willingness to support projects of varying size and complexity.
